Arman Golrokhian is the founder of Strategic Energy Advisers (SEA) LLC, an energy consultancy firm dedicated to advancing long-term strategic objectives of organizations that prioritize sustainability and social impact in navigating the clean energy transition. As a trusted strategic adviser, Arman has over a decade of experience in the energy industry, he brings a unique interdisciplinary background in strategy, finance, policy, regulatory affairs, sustainability, and engineering. His personal mission is to help organizations committed to sustainability chart bold, practical, long-term strategies that balance cost-effectiveness, value creation, and resiliency and reliability.

Prior to founding SEA, Arman served as a Clean Energy Transition Advisor with PA Consulting’s Energy & Utilities team, where he advised policymakers, investors, and executives through the evolving energy landscape. His clients included private equity, infrastructure and pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, public utility commissions, municipalities, and C-suite executives at investor-owned and municipal utilities. His work focused on cutting-edge topics such as decarbonization strategy, utility M&A, geothermal and district energy assets, renewable energy and storage development, HVDC transmission lines, hydrogen market entry, citywide and statewide resiliency planning, and transaction advisory.

Earlier in his career, Arman was an internal management consulting at DTE Energy’s Corporate Strategy group, where he advised senior leadership (CEO, CFO, VPs, and board members) on emerging technologies including solar, energy storage, electric vehicles, innovative rate design, and green tariffs.

Arman also has a strong foundation in international climate work. At the University of Michigan, he co-established and led multiple delegations to the United Nations Climate Negotiations (COPs) across Europe, South America, and North Africa, and co-founded Michigan Sustainability Cases (MSC), an initiative transforming global sustainability pedagogy.
