Arman Golrokhian is the founder of Strategic Energy Advisors (SEA) LLC. Arman holds a unique interdisciplinary education, brings over a decade of experience in the energy industry, and a bold strategic vision to help organizations committed to sustainability.

Prior to SEA, Arman was a Clean Energy Transition Advisor with PA Consulting’s Energy & Utilities team, where he helped policy makers, executives, and investors navigate the evolving energy landscape and develop long-term strategic plans.His clients ranged from investors (private equity, infrastructure funds, global wealth funds, pension funds) to utility executives and board members (investor-owned utilities, municipalities), and government (Public Utility Commissions).

Previously, he served as an internal management consultant to DTE Energy’s Corporate Strategy group, serving as an advisor to the C-suite (CEO, CFO and key decision makers) focusing on emerging technologies such as solar, energy storage, electric vehicles, and innovative rate design.

At the University of Michigan, Arman co-established and led multiple delegations to the United Nations (UN) climate negotiations in Germany (2013, 2015), Peru (2014), Paris (2015), Morocco (2016). He was also a founding member of the Michigan Sustainability Cases (MSC), an initiative with the mission of transforming global sustainability pedagogy.

in 2016, Arman was awarded as an Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps Fellow where he advised New York City with their long-term strategic energy planning.

Outside of work, Arman volunteers as an Ambassador to the City of Ann Arbor, enjoys connecting with fellow Wolverines and mentoring students from not privileged backgrounds. In 2024 he was selected as the Alumni of the Year by the School for Environment and Sustainability at UM.
